Chickpeas Omelette
Ingredients
- 2 cup Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
- 1 cup Milk / பால்
- 3 tbsp Flax seed - powdered
- 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - chopped
- 2 tbsp Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 2 tbsp Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
- 2 tbsp Carrot / காரெட் - grated
- 2 tbsp Capsicum / குடை மிளகாய் - chopped
- ½ tsp Black Salt
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Black Pepper powder / மிளகுத்தூள்
- 1½ tsp Yeast
- ½ tsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
- 1½ tsp Cooking Soda
- 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water, keep it aside for 5min
- Mix besan, flaxseed powder, green chili, onion, black salt, pepper powder, turmeric powder, carrot, capsicum
- Add yeast solution, cooking soda into the mix and mix well
- Add milk little by little and make into batter consistency
- Allow it ot rest for 20min
- Heat a non stick tawa
- Pour the batter over tawa and spread into thin circle, by slowly tilting the tawa to make a swirl action
- Pour oil along the sides of omelette, allow it cook for 1~2min
- Turn the side and allow it to cook for 1min
- Serve hot with ketchup
