Tomato – Basil Penne with Onion n Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 400 gm Penne Pasta - cooked until al dente
  • 500 gm Tomato / தக்காளி - diced
  • 100 gm Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
  • 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - smashed
  • 50 gm Basil leaves, Fresh - chopped
  • 2 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - chopped
  • 50 ml Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
  • 200 gm Cheese - grated
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு

Instructions
 

  • Heat Olive oil in a pan
  • Add garlic, onion and sauté well
  • Add tomato and warm it a little, tomato should not become mushy/cooked
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheese and add basil
  • Plate up the pasta and serve with the tomato basil mixture, little olive oil on top
