Chickpeas Burger
Ingredients
- 4 nos Burger Bread
- ½ cup Chickpea - soaked for 8hrs and pressure cooked
- ¼ cup Brown Rice
- 1 nos Onion, Red - finely chopped
- 1 nos Carrot / காரெட் - grated
- 1 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - circularly cut
- 4 nos Cheese - thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Parsley leaves, Fresh - chopped
- 2 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - finely chopped
- 1 nos Jalapeno - chopped
- 4 leaves Lettuce
- 50 ml Tomato Ketchup
- 50 ml Mustard paste / கடுகு விழுது
- 4 tbsp Bread crumbs
- 1 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு
Instructions
- Drain water from cooked chickpeas and mash it well along with rice, you may blend coarsely in a blender
- Mix onion, carrot, parsley, garlic, dry red chili, salt and make it a thick
- Make 4 balls of equal size
- Flatten it into a burger
- Shallow fry it in a pan
- Arrange the burger with lettuce, jalapeno, tomato ketchup, mustard paste, tomato, cheese
- Serve along with Potato Wedges
