Ingredients
  

  • 1 ltr Milk / பால் - high fat
  • ¼ cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • ½ cup Milk powder
  • 2 tsp Ghee / நெய்
  • 10 strands Saffron / குங்குமப் பூ

Instructions
 

  • Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan
  • Simmer the flame and continue boiling until reduces to half in volume, keep stirring continuously
  • Add sugar, saffron strands, keep stirring continuously until the mix solidifies
  • Add milk powder little by little and mix well
  • Switch off the flame
  • Add ghee and mix well
  • Allow it to cool
  • When it is lukewarm, knead it well and make pedas
