Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Rice, raw / பச்சரிசி
  • 1 cup Thoor dhal / துவரம் பருப்பு
  • 5 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 cup Coconut, Fresh / தேங்காய் - grated
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 2 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste

Instructions
 

  • Dry fry rice and thoor dhal separately for 5min each
  • Mix them together and soak with sufficient water over night
  • Grind rice, thoor dhal along with green chili, coconut into a fine batter
  • Consistency shall be in line with dosai
  • Heat dosa tawa to medium hot
  • Take a ladle full of batter and spread evenly over the tawa to form a circle of 7~8inch in diameter

Notes

Serve hot along with any chutneys
