Creamy Celery Soup
Ingredients
- 200 gm Celery - chopped
- 2 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - peeled
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - randomly cut
- 2 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly crushed
- 100 ml Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 6 ~ 8 cup Vegetable Broth
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pressure cooker
- Sauté onion well
- Add celery, potato and sauté well until tender
- Close the lid and pressure cook upto 5~7whistles
- Strain and allow the vegetables to cool
- Grind it in a blender into smooth purée
- Mix it with the strained liquid
- Add salt and pepper
- Add fresh cream and mix well
- Garnish with cut celery
- Serve hot
