Baked Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cup Basmati Rice / பாசுமதி அரிசி - ¾cooked
- ½ cup Carrot / காரெட் - chopped
- ½ cup French Beans, Fresh - chopped
- ½ cup Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - chopped
- ½ cup Cauliflower - chopped
- ½ cup Bell Pepper / குடை மிளகாய் - chopped
- ½ cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- ½ cup Paneer - chopped
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 2 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 2 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan
- Add cumin and allow it to splutter
- Add all the chopped vegetables and sauté them well
- Add salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and mix and cook well for 2min
- Add paneer and cook for 2min
- Add ¾cooked rice mix well
- Switch off the flame, keep aside
- Pre-heat oven to 220°C
- Fill the rice mix in a oven safe porcelain bowl
- Bake in oven for 20min
- Serve hot
