Ingredients
  

  • 50 gm Mint leaves, Fresh / புதீனா இலை
  • 1" ball Tamarind / புளி
  • 1 tbsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • ½ tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 5~6 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம் - optional

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast urad dhal, mustard, red chili, tamarind, allow it to cool
  • Grind along with mint leaves into a coarse paste
  • Store in a air tight container
  • Serve along with idli, dosai or curd rice
