Ingredients
  

  • 20 nos Pumpkin Blossoms - cut the stem and cleaned well
  • ½ cup Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • ½ tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு
  • 1 tsp Ajwain seed
  • 250 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - for frying
  • 10 nos Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை - fried in oil

Instructions
 

  • Mix besan, rice flour, corn flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt, ajwain along with 50~75ml of water with out any lumps
  • Coat pumpkin blossoms well in the above batter
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Dump the pumpkin blossoms carefully in oil
  • Fry them in low~medium heat until golden brown
  • Garnish with fried curry leaves
  • Serve hot
