Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Puffed Rice flakes - aval pori
  • ¾ cup Jaggery / வெல்லம் - grated
  • 2 tbsp Coconut / தேங்காய் - finely cut
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powder
  • ¼ tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி
  • ¾ tbsp Water / தண்ணீர்

Instructions
 

  • Clean jaggery and dissolve in water
  • Boil the syrup until it forms a ball consistency
  • Add coconut, cardamom powder and dry ginger powder to the jaggery syrup
  • Simmer the flame
  • Add puffed rice flake on to the syrup and mix well
  • Switch off flame
  • Grease your hands
  • Shape the puffed rice flake, jaggery syrup mix into small balls when it’s warm
