Aloo Paneer Subji
Ingredients
- 4 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled, peeled and largely cut
- 4 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - largely cut
- 200 gm Paneer - cut into cubes
- 4 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - largely cut
- 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
- 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 2 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Fry garlic, ginger, onion till golden brown
- Add tomato and fry till mushy
- Allow it to cool
- Grind the above into a fine paste
- Pour the ground mixture in a pan and cook it
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt
- Cook well for about 5~10min
- Add potato, mix well and cook for 5min
- Add paneer and mix it well
- Serve hot with roti, pulka or rice
