Broccoli, Spinach and Cheese Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Broccoli - cut into florets
  • 100 gm Spinach leaves / பசலைக்கீரை
  • 100 gm Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled n mashed
  • 25 gm Butter / வெண்ணெய்
  • 2 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose flour
  • 250 ml Milk / பால் - skimmed
  • 200 gm Mozzarella Cheese - sliced
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Add water in a pan, bring to boil
  • Add broccoli, cook for 2~3min
  • Drain and keep aside
  • Blanch spinach for a min
  • Rinse under cold water, drain
  • Melt butter in a pan
  • Add garlic sauté for a min
  • Add flour, stir and fry for 2min
  • Add milk little by little while stirring
  • Add half of cheese, pepper powder, broccoli, spinach and stir well
  • Fill this in a ovenproof dish
  • Top with mashed potato and remaining cheese
  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C
  • Bake for 25~30min

Notes

Serve hot
