Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Rice / அரிசி - cooked
  • 4 nos Capsicum / குடை மிளகாய் - chopped
  • 2 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய்
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • 1 tsp Chana Dhal / கடலைப் பருப்பு
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - (adjust to your taste)
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 4 tbsp Vaangi Baath Masala - http://nalabaagam.in/vaangi-baath-masala/

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper mustard in it
  • Add red chili, channa dhal and fry it
  • Add vaangi baath masala and fry it
  • Add capsicum and sauté it well until it is cooked
  • Add salt and mix well
  • Add cooked rice, mix well and cook for 2~3min

Notes

Serve hot with fried vadam
Variation
* Use eggplant in lieu of capsicum
* Use cashew nut in lieu of groundnut
