Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Baby Corn - sliced vertically
  • ¼ cup All Purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Corn Starch
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

for Sauce

  • 1 tsp Bell Pepper / குடை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Spring Onion - finely chopped
  • 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - slit vertically
  • 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - finely chopped
  • 2 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 tbsp Celery - finely chopped
  • tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch - dissolved in water
  • ½ tsp Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
  • 1 tsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Prepare batter by mixing corn starch, all purpose flour, salt, pepper, keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Dip baby corn in batter and pan fry well until golden brown, keep aside

for Sauce

  • Add oil in the same pan and heat
  • Add onion, spring onion and sauté well
  • Add green chili and stir fry
  • Add bell pepper, celery and stir fry
  • Reduce flame
  • Add soy sauce and stir well
  • Add vegetable broth, sugar, salt, black pepper powder and stir fry
  • Increase the flame and bring to a quick boil
  • Reduce flame
  • Add dissolved corn starch little by little and mix well until it gets thickened
  • Add baby corn and toss well until sauce mixes well
  • Add vinegar and mix well
  • Garnish with green spring onion
  • Serve hot
