Chinese Yam Tikki
Ingredients
- 250 gm Chinese Yam - peeled n grated
- 1 nos Carrot / காரெட் - grated
- 1 nos Zucchini - grated
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - diced
- 4 tbsp Basil leaves, Fresh - chopped
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 2 tsp Green Chili Sauce - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 100 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - for shallow frying
- 4 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு

- Mix Chinese yam, carrot, zucchini, onion, basil, garam masala, salt, green chili sauce, olive oil to a
- Add little besan and knead the mix into a dough
- Roll the dough into even cylinder
- Cut them into 1inch pieces
- Press the pieces to form thin tikkis
- Shallow fry them in little oil in a pan until both sides turn golden brown
- Serve hot with coriander chutney
