Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Potato, Small
  • 3 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili powder
  • tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி - powdered
  • 1 tsp Fennel seed / சோம்பு - powdered
  • 2 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய்
  • 3 tbsp Curd / தயிர்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cut the potato into half, if required
  • Deep fry the potatoes, prick them with a toothpick and keep aside
  • Grind onion into a fine paste
  • Mix all the dry powders in a bowl
  • Add enough water to the bowl to make a paste
  • Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan
  • Add the cardamom
  • Pour in the paste, onion paste and stir for about 4~5 minutes
  • Add the potatoes and mix well
  • Add and mix in the curd
  • Cover and cook for five minutes
  • Serve hot with rice
