Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Bitter Gourd / பாகற் காய் - cut into thin slices
  • ½ cup Yogurt / தயிர்
  • 1 tsp Fennel powder / சோம்புத் தூள்
  • ¼ tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி
  • ¼ tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil / கடுகு எண்ணெய்
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Add bitter gourd, fry until golden, set aside
  • Mix curd with fennel powder, dry ginger powder, salt, set aside
  • Heat rest of oil in the same pan
  • Add cumin, when it splutters, add curd mix, bitter gourd, cook on a low flame
  • When contents start boiling, switch off the flame
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with rice
