Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Garam Masala powder
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil / கடுகு எண்ணெய்
  • ½ tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick / லவங்கப் பட்டை
  • 6 nos Cloves / லவங்கம்
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • ½ tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
  • tsp Kashmiri Red Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி - powdered
  • 2 tbsp Curd / தயிர் - whisked
  • ½ cup Milk / பால்
  • 3 nos Cardamom, Brown / ஏலக்காய்
  • 3 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய்
  • 3 tsp Fennel seed / சோம்பு - powdered
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water and add asafoetida into it
  • Heat mustard oil
  • Fry paneer on both sides
  • Transfer fried paneer into the hot water
  • Heat remains of mustard oil after shallow frying paneer
  • Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, kashmiri chili powder, dry ginger powder and mix them well
  • Add the hing water to de-glaze
  • In the base mixture add curd, milk, brown cardamom, green cardamom, saunf powder and mix them well
  • Add the fried paneer into the base mixture and then add the powdered garam masala to it
  • Mix the paneer and garam masala well
  • Cover it and let it cook in simmer for a 5min
  • Serve hot with rotis
