Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm Kidney beans - soaked for 6~8hours
  • 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - diced
  • 5 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - chopped
  • 3 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
  • 1 inch piece Ginger / இஞ்சி - chopped
  • 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - adjust to your spice level
  • 100 ml Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice / எலுமிச்சை சாறு
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly crushed
  • 4 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped

Instructions
 

  • Drain kidney beans, discard the liquid
  • Pressure cook red beans, tomato, onion, garlic, green chili and allow it to cool
  • Grind the above with a blender into smooth pulp and strain it to remove any lumps/skins
  • Add fresh cream and reheat
  • Add lime juice, salt and mix well
  • Garnish and season with fresh coriander leaves and pepper powder
  • Serve hot with bread croutons
