Mushroom Makhani
Ingredients
- 250 gm Mushroom / காளான் - sliced
- 200 gm Onion / வெங்காயம் - sliced
- 200 gm Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 tsp Cumin powder / சீரகத் தூள்
- 1 tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
- 1 tbsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 cup Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 2 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - paste
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan
- Add ginger, garlic paste and fry well
- Add onion and fry till golden brown
- Add tomatoes and fry until mushy
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well
- Add mushrooms, salt, mix and fry well
- Add little water, if necessary and cook mush room until tender
- Add garam masala, mix well and cook for additional 2min
- Add cream mix well
- Garnish with coriander
- Serve hot with rice or roti
