Potato Cutlet
Ingredients
- 4 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled n peeled
- ½ cup Puffed Rice - powdered
- ¼ cup Wheat Rava
- ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- ½ tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை - finely chopped
- 50 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - to mix
- 500 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - to fry
Instructions
- Mash boiled potato without any lumps
- Mix powdered puff rice, rava, black pepper powder, red chili powder, coriander leaves, curry leaves
- Add oil little by little, mix well into a thick dough
- Make small balls and shape into the desired shape
- Heat oil in a kadai
- Fry balls in low flame until golden brown
Notes
Serve hot along with ketchup and/or green chutney
