Tomato – Basil Penne with Onion n Garlic
Ingredients
- 400 gm Penne Pasta - cooked until al dente
- 500 gm Tomato / தக்காளி - diced
- 100 gm Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - smashed
- 50 gm Basil leaves, Fresh - chopped
- 2 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - chopped
- 50 ml Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 200 gm Cheese - grated
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு
Instructions
- Heat Olive oil in a pan
- Add garlic, onion and sauté well
- Add tomato and warm it a little, tomato should not become mushy/cooked
- Remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheese and add basil
- Plate up the pasta and serve with the tomato basil mixture, little olive oil on top
