Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup Vegetables - onecut into pieces (Carrot, Beans , Cabbage , Any leafy vegetable)
- ½ nos Onion / வெங்காயம்
- ½ inch piece Ginger / இஞ்சி
- 1 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - crushed
- ½ cup Moong Dhal / பயத்தம் பருப்பு - Cheru payaru
- ½ cup Milk / பால்
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powder
- 2 tsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Cook the vegetables, onion, ginger, garlic and dal in a pressure cooker with 3 cups of water, for 10 minutes in low fire.
- Drain it well by taking out the entire juice out of the vegetables, into a pan.
- Add milk and one cup of water.
- Bring to boil again for 5 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper powder and butter to taste.
