Tindora Fry Curry
Ingredients
- 500 gm Tindora - thin round cut
- 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Mango powder, Dry
- 1 tsp Sambar Masala powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
- 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Temper mustard in it and add asafoetida and mix well
- Add tindora little by little and sauté well
- Add all ingredients, mix well and cook closed until tender in low flame, do not add water the water from the closed lid is enough
- Stir every now and then
- Once tindora is cooked open the lid and allow it to fry a little
- Serve hot with any rice item
