Achari Aloo
Ingredients
- 500 gm Baby Potato - boiled n peeled – 500gm
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seed / வெந்தயம்
- 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
- 4 – 5 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - adjust to your spice level
- 3 tbsp Mustard oil / கடுகு எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி
- 4 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 1 tsp Kalonji
- 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
Instructions
- Grind fenugreek, mustard, red chili, ginger, garlic and keep aside
- Heat mustard oil in a pan
- Add cumin, kalonji, curry leaves and fry well
- Add potato and roast it
- Add the ground paste, salt and mix well
- Cook for about 5min
- Serve hot
