Mushroom Garlic Creamy Pasta
Ingredients
- 400 gm Penne Pasta - cooked until al dente
- 2 cup Mushroom / காளான் - sliced
- 1 cup Onion / வெங்காயம் - long sliced
- 5~7 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly crushed
- 2 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - crushed
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 75 ml Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 1 cup Full Cream Milk
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese - grated
- 25 gm Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 1 cup Vegetable broth - optional
- 1 spric Rosemary
- 2 tsp Corn Flour - mixed in water with out lumps
for Sautéing (optional)
- ½ nos Carrot / காரெட்
- 2 nos Baby corn
- 2 tbsp Onion / வெங்காயம் - long sliced
Instructions
- Heat 1tbsp of olive oil in a pan
- Add carrot, baby corn, onion, salt and sauté well - keep aside
- Heat butter, rest of olive oil in the same pan
- Add garlic and fry until golden brown
- Add onion and fry until translucent
- Add mushroom, salt and fry until tender
- Add rosemary, red chili, crushed pepper and mix well
- Add sautéed vegetables and mix well
- Add vegetable broth (or water) and mix well
- Add full cream and bring to a boil, add little water if required
- Add salt, cornflour mix and mix well
- Add grated cheese and mix well, this will melt due to the heat in the sauce
- Mix the sauce with cooked penne
Notes
Garnish with rosemary, additional Parmesan cheese and Serve hot
