Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Tender Jackfruit - sliced
  • 1 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - diced
  • 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - sliced
  • 2 cup Coconut Milk / தேங்காய்ப் பால்
  • 3 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - sliced
  • 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - chopped
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Goraka paste - if available
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Mix turmeric paste, goraka paste, red chili powder, salt and marinate for 60min
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add onion, garlic, green chili and fry them well
  • Add tomato and fry until mushy
  • Add marinated tender jackfruit
  • Add curry powder and mix well
  • Add coconut milk and cook until jackfruit is soft
  • Once the gravy becomes thick, switch off flame
  • Serve hot with rice
