Vegetarian Manchow Soup
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Cabbage / முட்டை கோஸ் - shredded
- ¼ cup Carrot / காரெட் - grated
- ¼ cup Mustard seed / கடுகு - sliced
- ¼ cup French Beans, Fresh - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - finely chopped
- 2 nos Red Chili, Fresh - chopped, adjust your spice level
- 1 tsp Bell Pepper / குடை மிளகாய் - chopped
- ¼ cup Spring Onion - chopped
- 1 tsp Celery - chopped
- ½ tsp Vinegar
- ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- 3 cup Vegetable broth
- 5 tsp Corn Starch - dissolved in 2tbsp of water
- 2 tsp Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil / நல்லெண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- ½ cup Noodles - cooked
- Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Fry cooked noodles and drain oil in kitchen paper, keep aside
- Heat sesame oil in a pan
- Add chopped red chill, ginger, garlic and sauté well
- Add spring onion and sauté well
- Add french beans, mushroom and sauté well
- Add carrot, bell pepper and stir fry for 3~4min
- Add soy sauce, black pepper, stir well
- Add vegetable stock
- Add salt and bring to a boil in min flame
- Add dissolved corn starch and stir well
- Add vinegar and mix well
- Switch off flame
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve hot along with fried noodles
