Macaroni Vegetable au Gratin
Ingredients
- 250 gm Macaroni - cooked until al dente
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - cut long
- 2 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - sliced
- 2 tbsp Carrot / காரெட் - chopped
- 2 tbsp French Beans, Fresh - chopped
- 2 tbsp Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 tbsp Corn
- 3 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
- 200 ml Heavy Cream
- 1 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- 1 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Paprika - powdered
- 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 250 gm Cheese - grated
Instructions
- Blanch carrot, green peas, french beans, keep aside
- Boil potato until soft, keep aside
- Heat butter in a pan
- Sauté garlic until golden brown
- Add onion and sauté well
- Add carrot, beans, green peas, corn
- Add salt, black pepper, heavy cream and mix well
- Check the consistency of the mix if too thin add all purpose flour mixed with little water little by little and mix well
- Add cooked macaroni and mix well
- Make a layer of macaroni in a porcelain bowl then potato then macaroni again
- Pour the mix over it and lay cheese over it
- Pre-heat oven to 170-200°C
- Bake for 20~30min
- Serve hot
