Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled n peeled
  • 1 cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
  • 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - sliced
  • 1 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - sliced
  • 5 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - sliced
  • 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி - sliced
  • 5 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய்
  • 1 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய்
  • 1 nos Cinnamon stick / லவங்கப் பட்டை
  • 1 nos Star Anise
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Sour Curd / தயிர் புளித்தது
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1tsp oil in a pan
  • Add onion, garlic and sauté well, allow it to cool
  • Blend into coarse paste along with tomato, ginger, green chili, cardamom, clove, star anise
  • Heat rest of oil
  • Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter
  • Add greed peas and cook until mushy
  • Add potato, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder and mix well
  • Pour the coarse gravy and cook until it gives bubble, add little water to adjust desired consistency
  • Add sour curd and mix well and allow to cook for 2min
  • Switch of flame and add coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with rice or roti
