Kadalai Urundai
Ingredients
- 1 cup Peanut, roasted - de-husked
- ¾ cup Jaggery / வெல்லம் - grated
- ¼ tsp Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powder
- ¼ tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி
- ¾ tbsp Water / தண்ணீர்
Instructions
- Clean jaggery and dissolve in water
- Boil the syrup until it forms a ball consistency
- Add cardamom powder and dry ginger powder to jaggery syrup
- Simmer the flame
- Add peanuts on to the syrup and mix well
- Switch off flame
- Grease your hands
- Shape the peanut, jaggery syrup mix into small balls when its warm
