Dalia Upma
Ingredients
- 2 cup Dalia
- ½ cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய்
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 2 tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
- 1 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
- 1 tsp Chana Dhal / கடலைப் பருப்பு
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 4 cup Water / தண்ணீர்
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pal
- Add mustard and allow it to splutter
- Add urad dhal, chana dhal, green chili fry well until golden brown
- Add onion and fry until translucent
- Add green peas and cook for some time
- Add water, salt and bring to a boil
- Add dalia little by little by stirring the mix continuously such that no lumps are formed
- Cook closed for 5~10min in low flame
- Serve hot with salsa sauce
