Vegetable Cutlet
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled n mashed
- ¼ cup Carrot / காரெட் - boiled n mashed
- ¼ cup Broccoli - boiled n mashed
- 2 tbs[ Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி - boiled n mashed
- 3 tbsp Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - paste
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 1 tsp Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 2 - 3 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 tsp Mango powder, Dry
- 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை - chopped
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு
- 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
- 100 ml Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Mix potato, carrot, broccoli, green peas, onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, garam masala, turmeric powder, amchur, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt, besan, asafoetida and mix well
- Add corn flour to adjust the consistency
- Divide into 8~10 equal parts
- Flatten them into patties
- Heat little oil in a tawa
- Place these patties over it and cook both sides until golden brown

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or tomato chutney
