Penne Arrabbiata
Ingredients
- 400 gm Penne Pasta - cooked until al dente
- 4~5 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - diced
- 4 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
- ¼ cup Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Red Pepper flakes
- ½ tsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை - optional
- 2 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 4 nos Basil leaves, Fresh - randomly teared
- ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground
- ½ tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம் - freshly ground
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese - grated
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet
- Add garlic and sauté for a min
- Add onion and sauté for a min
- Add red pepper flakes and fry for a min
- Add tomato and cook until mushy
- Add sugar, black pepper, salt, mix well
- Add parmesan cheese and mix well
- Add cooked penne and mix well, cook for a min along with sauce
- Garnish with a basil leaf, Parsley
