Ingredients
  

for Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி
  • 10 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு - crushed
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Chana Dhal / கடலைப் பருப்பு
  • 1 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - crushed
  • 2 tbsp Carrot / காரெட் - finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add mustard and allow it to splutter
  • Add channa dhal, urad dhal, fry until golden brown
  • Add curry leaves and fry a little
  • Pour them into the batter, keeping the oil
  • Add cashew nut and fry until golden brown
  • Pour them with the oil into the batter
  • Add carrot, black pepper, mix well
  • Pour the batter into greased idli molds
  • Steam it for 10min and additionally 5min in low flame
  • Remove them from the mold
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney
