Carrot Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 500 gm Carrot / காரெட் - peeled into long ribbons using vegetable peeler
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 10 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
- 2 sticks Celery - chopped
- 5 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - chopped
- 1 nos Carrot / காரெட் - chopped
- ½ cup Cheese - grated
- 50 ml Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 2 nos Bay leaf, Dry
- 500 gm Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - , adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan
- Add onion, garlic and fry, do not make it brown
- Cook for a couple of minutes and then add bay leaves, chili, tomato and carrots
- Leave to cook for 10~15mins, stir occasionally and allow it to cool
- Blend it into a sauce consistency, some pieces of onion, tomato, garlic shall be left to give a texture
- Heat the sauce
- Remove from the heat and stir in the grated cheese and sprinkle black pepper
- Add peeled carrot, mix with sauce well
- Cook closed for 5min
Notes
Serve with little marinara sauce on top
