Chawal ki Roti
Ingredients
- 2 cup Rice / அரிசி - cooked
- 2 cup Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 3 - 4 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped, adjust to your spice level
- 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Knead the cooked rice when its hot so that it becomes super mashed easily
- Add rice flour, cumin, knead well
- Add oil little by little so that the dough will not stick on hands
- split into equal portions (approx 10~12nos)
- Roll them into thin rotis
- Heat tawa to medium hot
- Cook all the roti over both sides for 1~2min
- Add little oil for a crispy finish
Notes
Serve hot along with chutney of your choice
Note: This is similar to Akki Roti but only difference is to use cooked rice to get the roti soft
