Ingredients
  

  • 5 cup Wheat flour (atta)
  • ¼ cup Wheat flour (atta) - to be used while spreading
  • 120 ml Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • ½ Salt Salt / உப்பு
  • 5 tbsp Ghee / நெய்

Instructions
 

  • Knead wheat flour with 2tbsp of ghee into a soft dough
  • Allow it to rest for about 30min
  • Divide the dough into 8 ~10 pieces
  • Take a piece and roll like a thin chapatti, as thin as possible
  • Spread 2tsp of ghee over the chapatti
  • Fold it into ½inch flaps, similar to paper fan
  • Roll it into a spiral
  • Roll this into 6~7inch diameter
  • Cook the paratha in a hot tawa, applying oil on both sides
  • Serve hot with any gravies
