Ingredients
  

for Curry

  • 500 gm Baby potato - boiled & peeled
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice / எலுமிச்சை சாறு
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • ½ cup Ghee / நெய்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste

for Masala paste

  • 2 tbsp Coriander seed / தனியா
  • 2 tbsp Poppy seeds / கசகசா
  • 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி
  • ½ cup Coconut, Fresh / தேங்காய் - grated
  • 6 – 8 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு
  • 2 – 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய்
  • 2 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 5 – 6 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
  • ½ tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala powder

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients mentioned under 'for the masala paste', blend to a fine paste
  • Heat ghee in a pan, fry the ground paste and curry leaves
  • When it starts giving a sweet aroma
  • Add lemon juice and mix in the boiled potatoes
  • Fry for few more minutes, add ¾cup water and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Serve hot with any fried rice
