Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Corn cob - peeled
  • 4 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - crushed
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest - grated
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice / எலுமிச்சை சாறு
  • 1 tsp Sea salt - adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்

Instructions
 

  • Crush garlic, lemon zest, salt, pepper, red chili powder
  • Add lemon juice, keep aside
  • Put the corn in a large bowl of hot water, let soak for 30 minutes
  • Drain, pat dry with kitchen paper
  • Pre-heat a barbecue, then cook the corn over medium-hot coals for 5min [as I do not have a barbecue I grilled over a gas oven]
  • Turn regularly until the  kernels are lightly charred
  • Rub the masala paste over the corn kernel using the lemon shell
