Stuffed Bell Pepper with Rice
Ingredients
- 4 nos Bell Pepper / குடை மிளகாய்
for Stuffing
- 1 cup Rice / அரிசி - cooked
- 100 gm Paneer - cottage cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp White Sauce or fresh cream
- 1 nos Bell Pepper / குடை மிளகாய்
- 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - chopped
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 5 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - chopped
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
for Topping
- 2 tbsp Cooking Cheese - grated
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add onion, garlic green chili and sauté them
- Add rice, paneer, cream and mix well
- Cut the capsicum on the top to make it a cup like structure, keep the top cap and de-seed them
- Put in salted boiling water for 3~4 minutes and remove
- Fill with the stuffing
- Cover with the cooking cheese and bake in a hot oven at 175°C (350°F) for 10~15min minutes
- Serve hot
