Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி - mattar
  • 2 bunch Fenugreek leaves, Fresh / வெந்தயக் கீரை - methi, chopped
  • 1 tsp Shahi Jeera
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Goda Masala powder - optional
  • 2 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper shahi jeera in it
  • Add and sauté methi leaves well
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, goda masala powder, salt and mix well
  • Add fresh green peas and add little water
  • Simmer the flame and cook well until water dries up
  • Add besan and mix well
  • Add little oil, if required and fry a bit
  • Serve hot with rice and/or roti
