Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Fine Rava
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
  • 4 tbsp Ghee / நெய் - solid/coarse
  • 2 – 3 tbsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை - powdered
  • 1 pinch Salt / உப்பு
  • 500 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - to fry

Instructions
 

  • Mix rava, 2tbsp of ghee evenly with hand until forms crumble texture
  • Add water little by little and make a soft dough
  • Cover it and allow it to rest for 1hr
  • Mix rice flour, 2tbsp of ghee in a smaller bowl
  • Divide the dough into 5 equal portions into balls
  • Roll each ball into a large circle and as thin as possible
  • Spread ghee/rice flour on the surface and place the rolled puris one over the other
  • Roll the layered puris into a tight log
  • Cut them into 1inch pieces (approx)
  • Roll the pieces into thin poori
  • Deep fry them in oil, similar to frying poori
  • Allow it to cool and store in an air tight container
  • Serve it by sprinkling sugar powder and pouring hot badam milk over it
