Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup Milk / பால்
  • 20 - 25 nos Almond / பாதாம் - un-roasted/un-salted
  • ¾ cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • 5 strands Saffron / குங்குமப் பூ
  • ½ tsp Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powder

Instructions
 

  • Soak almond in warm water for 30min, peel the skin
  • Grind it into a fine paste
  • Soak saffron in 2tbsp of milk
  • Heat milk in a pan in low flame and bring to boil
  • Add almond paste and cook for 10~15min in low flame
  • Add soaked saffron, mix and cook well.
  • Occasionally keep stirring the milk

Notes

Serve hot just like that or along with Pathirpheni
