Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Moong Dhal / பயத்தம் பருப்பு
  • ½ cup Coconut / தேங்காய் - grated
  • 2 – 3 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய்
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 2 tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Wash and cook moong dhal in a pressure cooker
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper mustard in it
  • Add red chili, curry leaves and roast them well
  • Add asafoetida and mix well
  • Add cooked moong dhal
  • Add salt and mix well
  • Add coconut and well
  • Serve hot
