Mushroom Spicy Dry Curry

Ingredients
- 250 gm Mushroom / காளான்
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம்
- 5 – 7 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 2 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 20 ml Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
- 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
- 1 inch Cinnamon stick / லவங்கப் பட்டை
- 3 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 4 – 5 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
Instructions
- Wash and cut the Mushrooms
- Cut Onion into fine pieces
- Cut Garlic into fine pieces
- Heat 10ml oil in a pan
- Season cumin
- Add Turmeric Powder and stir well
- Add Garlic and fry till it turns light brown
- Add Onion and fry till it turns translucent
- Add Mushrooms now
- Add salt and stir well and allow to boil in medium flame
- Add Garam Masala, Chili powder stir well
- Once Mushrooms are fully cooked, add the Cinnamon and Cardamon
- Add Besan now and mix well
- Add rest oil and let the mix roast a little
- Garnish with curry leaves
