Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Paneer - cut into 1inch cubes
  • 1 tsp Coriander seed / தனியா
  • ¼ tsp Fenugreek seed / வெந்தயம்
  • ½ tsp Kalonji
  • ¼ cup Hung Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - paste
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • ¼ tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala powder
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 2 tsp Pickle Gravy
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 2 sprigs Mint leaves, Fresh / புதீனா இலை

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, kalonji till fragrant, set aside to cool
  • Crush the roasted spices into fine powder
  • Take hung yogurt in a bowl
  • Add ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, pickle gravy, turmeric powder and mix well
  • Add a little of the crushed spices to the yogurt and mix well
  • Add paneer to the yogurt mixture and mix well so that all the pieces are well coated
  • Marinate for 15 minutes
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan
  • String the paneer cubes onto sticks and place them in the pan
  • Cook, rotating the sticks, so that the paneer cubes get evenly cooked all around
  • Serve hot
