Badam Milk
Ingredients
- 4 cup Milk / பால்
- 20 - 25 nos Almond / பாதாம் - un-roasted/un-salted
- ¾ cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
- 5 strands Saffron / குங்குமப் பூ
- ½ tsp Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powder
Instructions
- Soak almond in warm water for 30min, peel the skin
- Grind it into a fine paste
- Soak saffron in 2tbsp of milk
- Heat milk in a pan in low flame and bring to boil
- Add almond paste and cook for 10~15min in low flame
- Add soaked saffron, mix and cook well.
- Occasionally keep stirring the milk
Notes
Serve hot just like that or along with Pathirpheni
