Ingredients
  

  • 8 nos Banana Pepper
  • 2 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - cut into cubes
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk / தேங்காய்ப் பால்
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek seed / வெந்தயம்
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Madras Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 10 nos Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil / தேங்காய் எண்ணெய்

for Curry Sauce

  • 3 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
  • 1 inch piece Ginger / இஞ்சி
  • 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம்
  • 1 nos Tomato / தக்காளி
  • 10 nos Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 3 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
  • 1 inch piece Ginger / இஞ்சி
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil / தேங்காய் எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Grind tomato, onion, garlic into a coarse paste
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add mustard and allow to splutter
  • Add ground paste mix and cook for 1min
  • Add cumin, fenugreek, salt, turmeric powder and mix well
  • Mix and cook for 1 min
  • Add curry leaves, madras curry powder, chili powder, banana pepper, potato cubes and mix well
  • Cook for 2min under medium flame
  • Add coconut milk and mix well
  • Close cook for 5~10min till potatoes are tender
  • Switch off flame
  • Serve hot with rice or pol roti
