Carrot and Chinese Yam Pottage
Ingredients
- 250 gm Chinese Yam - peeled n diced
- 100 gm Carrot / காரெட் - diced
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - diced
- 2 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 500 ml Vegetable broth
- 100 ml Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly crushed
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Heat butter in a pan
- Sauté carrot, Chinese yam, onion, allow it to cool
- Blend into a fine paste
- Add vegetable broth, bring to boil
- Add black pepper, salt, mix well
- Add fresh cream
